Mary L. Stofer Springer Hughes. Mary died Friday September 22, 2017 at The New Homestead in Guthrie Center at age of 82 years. Funeral services will be held at Hastings Funeral Home, in Jefferson at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 29, 2017
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Franklin Township Cemetery near Cooper.

Mary is survived by her children Debra Jensen (Paul) of Forest City, IA; Craig Springer of Spirit Lake, IA; Raymond Springer (Kimberley) of Des Moines, IA; and Julie Kipp (Kevin) of Yale, IA; grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law Arliss and Kenneth "June" Buttler of Guthrie Center, IA; sister-in-law Florence Siegenthaler of Jefferson, IA; and sister-in-law Mary Esther Springer of Northwood, IA.
