Herbert C. "Herb" Stock died Wed. Oct. 20, 2010 at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. A gathering of friends and family will be Wednesday, Oct 27, 2010 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care 414 Lincoln way in Ames. Herb was born April 17, 1931 in Fremont, NE the son of Louie and Georgiana Stock. He graduated from High School and College. He was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #520 in Ames and the American Legion Post #37 of Ames. He is survived by his companion and her family, Judi Richardson of Ames and her children Erica Cory of Huxley, Amy Richardson of Ames and Andrew (Nicole) Richardson of Huxley and three grandchildren, 4 children and a sister in Nebraska, Memorials may be directed to the family.
