Robert Houseman
Robert Patrick Houseman, age 71, of Grand Haven passed away September 19, 2017. Robert was born August 18, 1946 to the late Garret & Helen (Gallagher) Houseman. He married the late Susan Brown on September 13, 1969 in Grand Haven. Robert was employed at Grand Haven Stamped Products as a welder for 35 years, retiring in 2010. He was a member of St. Patrick- St. Anthony Catholic Church. Robert enjoyed yardwork, helping with the Boy Scouts when he was younger and watching football as a loyal University of Michigan fan. What he loved the most was spending time with his family and grandchildren. Robert is lovingly remembered by his son, Ted (Sara) Houseman of Grand Haven; 3 grandchildren, Alexander, Isabelle & Gabriel; sisters, Julia Bradfield & Rita Weinert; brother, Jim Houseman; mother-in-law, Irene Brown; sisters-in-law, Carol Houseman, Jackie Houseman, Bea Siuda & Marianne Houseman; brothers-in-law, Melvin Doremire, Bob (Mary) Brown, Bill (Linda) Brown, Scott (Sunday) Brown, Skip Brown & Kirk Brown and many nieces, nephews & cousins. ert will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 6, 2017 at St Patrick-St. Anthony Catholic Church with Fr. Charles Schwartz presiding. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Klaassen Family Funeral Home. Interment will be at Lake Forest Cemetery.
