William "Bill" Walters, age 75, of Waterloo passed away at Cedar Valley Hospice Home on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. He was born on October 4, 1941 in Waterloo; the son of Harold and Edna (Bronson) Walters. He graduated from Orange High School in 1959. Bill married Susan Isenhower on June 3, 1963 at the EUB Church in Hudson. He farmed in Orange Township and worked as a mechanic at John Deere & Co. for 30 years. He retired in July 1995. Bill had also been a volunteer firefighter at Hudson Fire Department. He was a member of UAW Local 838. Survivors include his wife, Susan Walters of Waterloo; four sons, Clifton (Kelly) Walters of Waterloo, George (Monique) Walters of Waterloo; John (Christine) Walters of Waterloo, and Richard Walters of New Lennox, IL; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, LaVonne Walters of Presque Isle, ME. He was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Anne Kathryn Walters; and a brother, Robert "Bob" Walters.
