Randy Lee Touchette, 48, of Burlington died at 2:08 a.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Born March 2, 1962 in Burlington, he was the son of Eldridge Touchette and Nancy Fehse Farris. He married Clarise Ericson Fenner.
Mr. Touchette was a truck driver for Ideal Ready Mix. He was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, eagles and having a cold beer with friends.
Survivors include his wife, Clarise Fenner; son, Willie Touchette of Burlington; step daughter, Jessica Ferguson of Burlington; two grandchildren, Devin Dunn and Rheanna Champagne both of Burlington; his mother, Nancy Fariss of Burlington; siblings, Cupil Schroeder of North Carolina, Michele Touchette of Iowa City, Kimberly Touchette of Oklahoma, Tonja Carlson of Burlington, Tami Arbogast of New London and Gina Hunter of Hillsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
His father and grandparents preceded him in death.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. Saturday, January 15th, in Lunning Chapel.
A memorial has been established.
Cremation will be accorded following the visitation.
