Brett Alan Brodersen

Brett Alan Brodersen, age 58 of Monroe, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017, in Pearsiburg, Virginia. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at the Monroe Presbyterian Church. The family will greet friends following the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com The son of Wilbur Dean and Judith Ann (Jones) Brodersen, Brett was born on December 17, 1958, in Des Moines, Iowa. Brett graduated from Monroe High School in 1977. Brett worked for Manatt's Inc. in Ankeny. He was a member of the Monroe Presbyterian Church, where he volunteered as the audio and media technician. He also volunteered for the annual "Night of Trivia" for the PCM Foundation. Brett also worked as a sound technician for the band Pie in the Sky.
