María Clemencia Tipacti, age 96, of Madison, died on October 15th 2017 surrounded by her children and loving family and friends. She was born on February 2nd, 1921 in Ica, Peru. Mama Clemencia is survived by her children Elia J., Berta F. and husband David Hildner, M. Edgar and wife Colleen Armacanqui, Numa A., and J. Samuel Armacanqui, as well as for her grandchildren Eric and Diana Marie Armacanqui; Richard and wife Gisela Medrano, and Natalia Hildner; Hilda, Carlos, and Luis Armacanqui; Diana Mercedes, Rocio and her husband Phil Thomas, and Juan Jose Armacanqui; María Isabel and husband Alfredo Uribe, Nikol, and Joshua Armacanqui, as well as by her great grandchildren María Lucia and Gabriel Uribe, and by Amaru Hildner. Her parents were Antonino Tipacti Huaman and Clementina Martinez Sandoval. Mama Clemencia was a great and loving mother to her children. She fought adversity and found her way to become the first teacher ever of a rural Andean town in Laramarca-Peru. Mama Clemencia was an excellent and devoted teacher and was loved by all of her students and their parents. y. Upon her return to teaching, she took classes after hours and during summer vacation to accomplish her dream of graduating with a professional degree, which she completed at age 45. She worked tirelessly for her children, moving from small towns to large cities to be with them and to care for them. Mama Clemencia accomplished her greatest dream of seeing each of her children with a professional degree. She was a strong person of great faith and inspired each of her children throughout her life. She was a loving mother as well as a caring, generous, and very devoted person to God, her children, and her work. Mama Clemencia is now joining her husband Nicolas, and her children Jose Teófilo, María Lourdes, Carmen Gladys, and Rosa, who passed away before her.
