Edward E. Miller

Burial: St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery ~ Lakota, Iowa. Edward Earnest Miller was born August 31, 1938 at his home in rural Ledyard, son of Harry and Clara (Trasamar) Miller. He attended country school near Lakota and graduated High School in Albert Lea, Minnesota in 1956. Edward lived and worked in California in his earlier years. He then worked as a meat cutter at Hoods Grocery in Algona for many years and also in Elmore Minnesota. He also was a counselor at the Elmore Academy prior to his retirement. Ed loved spending the past 26 years with his very special friend Jane Pesicka and her extended family especially her grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, harvesting and canning fruits and vegetables, and he enjoyed visiting with his many friends. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Elmore, MN. In August, 2009, he became a resident of Van Buren Terrace in Algona. Edward E. Miller died Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at Kossuth Regional Health Center, Algona, at the age of 72.
