Norma Jean Cortner

Norma Jean Cortner, age 81 of Estill Springs, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, Tennessee. She was born in Winchester on March 12, 1935 to the late John and Mary Virgie Duncan Kirk. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Gene Cortner; sisters, Annette Kirk and Theona Faircloth; and brothers, Sonny Kirk, Bill Kirk, and Mike Kirk. Mrs. Cortner is survived by daughter, Melissa Lisa and her husband, Richard Rochelle; granddaughters, Mackenzie Rochelle and Maggie Rochelle; and grandson, Canady Rochelle, all of Charlotte, Tennessee; sisters, Sissy Kirk Day and Joyce Kirk Lynn, both of Niota, TN, Peggy Seals of Estill Springs; and Kay Kirk of Stone Mountain, GA; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Tuesday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt.
