Billy Dale Preston

Billy Dale Preston, age 78 of Hurdlow Community, passed away at his residence on Sunday, July 17, 2016 after a short battle with ALS (Lou Gehrigs Disease). He was born on August 26, 1937 in Moore County to the late Jesse Preston, Sr. and Laura Tucker Preston. Mr. Preston loved farming, tractors, gardening, hunting, fishing, 4 wheeler riding and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Preston Peck. Survivors include his daughters, Teresa (Toru) Preston Hongo of Franklin and Tammy Preston (Kenneth) McBroom of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Kathryne Preston Fagg of Tullahoma; brother, Jesse (Regina) Preston, Jr. of Hurdlow Community; grandchildren, Garrett & Kayla Bear and Rachel & Tori Hongo; niece, Anna Peck Melnikoff; nephews, Jimmy Peck, Matthew Scruggs and John David Preston. Visitation will be 10 am-11:30 am Wednesday at Jennings Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:30 am Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Jennings Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. A. J.
