Kenneth William Mager, age 75 of Winchester, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Gary, Indiana on January 5, 1941 to the late Joseph and Edna Mager. Kenneth served his country in the United States Marines before becoming a Supervisor at Gliden SCM Metals. He loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Kathleen Borck Mager of Winchester; daughters, Kristine (Todd) Nowicki of Acworth, GA, and Kelly (Jay) Chambers of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Luke Nowicki of Atlanta, Ryan (Leigh Anne) Nowicki of Statesboro, GA, Brooke Nowicki of Acworth, GA, Emily Chambers of Indianapolis, IN, Justin Chambers of Indianapolis, IN, Trevor Chambers of Indianapolis, IN, and Zach Chambers of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Carol Jean Tate of Crown Point, IN; brother, Ronnie (Kathy) Mager of Tiskilwa, IL; sister and brother-in-laws, Margaret (Paul) Canady of Munster, IN, Noel (Nancy) Borck of Fairfax, VA, Paul Borck of Thornton, IL; Mike (Gina) Borck of Thornton, IL; and Michelle (David) Kalemba of New Lenox, IL; and many nieces and nephews.
