Alton C Limbaugh Sr.

Alton C. Limbaugh Sr. age 78, of Cowan, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2017. He was born on December 29, 1938 in the Buncombe Community to the late Chester and Barbara Amacher Limbaugh. Alton was a lifelong farmer in the Cowan Community and had a love for International Tractors. Alton retired from Marquette Cement Plant in Cowan after thirteen years. He was a member of the Cowan Cumberland Presbyterian Church and The Old Timers gospel singing group. In his spare time, he enjoyed working in the garden and watching Vanderbilt Football and Baseball. In addition to his parents, Alton is preceded in death by his sister Agnes Clark and brothers Conley and Glen Limbaugh. Alton is survived by his sons, Clayton (Sharon) Limbaugh of Dale City, Virginia, Charlie (Sarah) Limbaugh of Manchester, Mark (Lisa) Limbaugh of Decherd and Bryan (Amanda) Limbaugh of Murfreesboro.
