Camden, AR - Jimmie Maxine Carroll Chambliss, 84, passed away Friday, Oct. 20, 2017 at the Texas Masonic Retirement Center in Arlington, Texas.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church, where Brother Don Phillips will officiate. The family of Jimmie Maxine Carroll Chambliss would like to thank you for honoring her memory by your presence. She will be laid to rest at Minter Cemetery, Lamar County, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church of Camden, AR and Texas Masonic Retirement Center in Arlington, TX.
Jimmie was born July 29, 1933 in Estelline, Texas. She moved to Camden, Arkansas in March of 1980 and began the transformation of her property into a cattle farm named, JJ ranch. Later, she was honored with being named "Farm Family of The Year" for Ouachita County, Arkansas in August 1987. top sales lady of the year for Mary Kay Cosmetics in the 1980s. Some of her many talents include; painting, quilting, ceramics, and sewing. She attended Calvary Baptist Church of Camden where she served as an active member of her Sunday School Class.
Jimmie was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Jewell Carroll; sister, Bobbie Lee Carroll and brother, Donny MC Carroll.
Survivors: Son, Jimmy Don Payton and wife, Melissa; daughter, Linda Carol Tiner; grandchildren, Judy Dawn Hearnsberger and husband, Marcus, Anissa Dawn Teskey and husband, Michael, Don Paul Payton and wife, Cassie, Jason Lee Tiner and wife, Cody; great-grandchildren; Jake Teskey, Sydney Teskey, Wyatt Payton, Dylan Payton, Jackson Payton, Kaylee Hearnsberger, Marissa Hearnsberger, Jason J.C. Tiner, Gunner Tiner, Ruby Jewel Tiner and Bella Tiner; sister, Roma Matthews and husband, Delbert.
The family would like to give special thanks to the caring staff and residents at the Arlington Texas Masonic Retirement Center, to the exceptional staff of Mission Hospice, and loving care provided by Dr. Norberto JC Montani, MD.
