Richard T Boone

Richard Thomas Boone was born on May 19, 1945 at Leech Lake, Minnesota. He was raised by his Granny and Uncle. He was baptized on February 14, 2011. Richard attended Father Flanagan's Boy's Town in Nebraska and went to college to become a barber. He also went to college to be a seta less grinder and to the Minneapolis Community College for a chemical dependency counselor and security guard. He was a security guard at the Salvation Army in downtown Minneapolis. On December 24, 1995, Richard was united in marriage to Joanne Magpie Conklin and they renewed their vows on February 14, 2011. Richard was a great Anishinabe and Lakota Warrior. Many Neegee's and Brothers and Sisters on the streets looked up to him. He was sent home to his Creator and Cha Con Sha La. He passed away suddenly from lung cancer on February 19, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Society-Sogge Memorial in Windom at the age of 65.
