Angelita V. Vela
Angelita V. Vela, 98 left to be with our Heavenly Father Thursday, October 26, 2017 at her residence in Elsa. Angelita was born August 26, 1919 in Progresso, TX. Angelita is preceded in death by her husband Rafael Vela, her mother Simona Vasquez. Left to cherish her memories is her son, Roy (Dianna) Vela, her daughters, Maria A. (Roberto +) Lomas, Maria (Manuel +) Garza, Elva (Elias) Cerda, Irma (Felix) Tanguma, Connie Guerra and Elida (Joel) Garza, 19 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday October 29, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Guerra Funeral Home Elsa, with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A celebration of her life will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday October 30, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa, TX.
Interment will follow to Highland Memorial Park of Weslaco, TX.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Elsa, TX.
