Letha Elizabeth Whitaker Derryberry

Letha Elizabeth Whitaker Derryberry, age 78 of Winchester, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. She was born on February 25, 1939 in Harvey, Illinois to the late Edwin Terrill and Mary Emmaline Noah Whitaker. Before her retirement, Letha worked as a Sales Associate at Castner Knott/Dillards in Tullahoma. She was a member of Owens Chapel Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Letha was a Bill Elliott Nascar Fan, but most of all she loved her family and her dogs. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-nine years, Bill Derryberry of Winchester; sons, Edwin "Eddie" (Patsy) Derryberry of Winchester, Terrill "Terry" Derryberry of Winchester, and Joseph "Joe" (Heather) Derryberry of Tullahoma; sisters, Vivian (James) Collins of Sewanee, and Patricia "Patty" Whitaker of Winchester; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Monday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 2:30 PM Tuesday, October 31, 2017 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. Blake Stephens officiating.
