Penny Bruner
Esther "Penny" (nee Tagliavoni) Bruner, 70, of Amherst passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Mercy-New Life Hospice of St. Joseph in Lorain following a brief illness.
Ms. Bruner was born May 13, 1947 to Joseph Tagliavoni of Lorain and the late Victoria (nee Bernaz) Tagliavoni.
She had been employed as an inspector by the Ford Motor Corp in Avon Lake. She retired following 40 years of service. She also served as a guardian ad litem for Lorain County Children's Court.
Ms. Bruner is survived by her father Joseph Tagliavoni of Lorain, son Bruce (Mary) Babics of Portage, IN, brother Mark (Marlene) Tagliavoni of Lorain, grandchildren Bruce Babics, Jr, Bryce Babics, Daniel Babics, Dusten Kohler, Havannah Kohler and Alexis Kohler.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a stepson, David Bruner and a sister Pamela Tagliavoni Avniam.
Funeral services will be on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain with Mr. Mark Jaffee, of Agudath B'Nai Israel Synagogue, officiating.
