Beverly Meyer
Beverly Ann Meyer, age 88 of rural Winona, died Monday, November 06, 2017 at Lake Winona Manor, Winona, MN.
Beverly was born June 19, 1929 in La Crosse, WI to Elmer and Ruth (Mclesse) Walters. On November 30, 1950, she married Bernard D. Meyer and he preceded her in death October 29, 2004.
She was employed for 11 years at Sauer Memorial Home as a nurse's aide; then at Ridgeway Cheese Factory; and then as a play-ground supervisor for School District 861 at Ridgeway, MN retiring in 1980. Beverly was a member of Pickwick Community Church, Pickwick, MN. She loved quilting, flowers, baking and spending time with children, grandchildren and many friends.
Beverly is survived by four children: David (Sally) Meyer, Holmen, WI; Greg Meyer, Winona; Curtis (June Bolstad) Meyer, Winona; and Pauline (Randy) Spalding, Ridgeway, MN; son-in-law, Neil Gerdes; 22 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two brothers: Richard (Pat) Walters, Winona and Lloyd (Norma) Walters, Goodview, MN; three sisters: Shirley Hollander, Cleveland, OH; Sharon Meier, Winona and Kathy Walters, La Crosse, WI; two sisters-in-law: Diane Walters, Winona and Grace Walters, Goodview; and...[more]

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bernard, two daughters: Mary Jo Gerdes and Diane Newberry, two brothers: Keith and Wayne Walters, son-in-law Dallas Newberry, and brothers-in-law: John Hollander and James Meier.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Fawcett Junker Funeral Home, Winona with the funeral service to begin at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Eric Mattie, La Crescent Evangelical Free Church, La Crescent, MN, officiating. Interment will be at Bush Cemetery, Ridgeway, MN.
