Linda E. Wagoner

Linda Wagoner Linda Eileen Ashworth Wagoner, 76, passed away at 6:56 p.m., on April 11, 2017, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. She was born in Kahoka, Missouri, in 1940, to Ethel Lucille McCabe Ashworth and Jack Ashworth. The family moved to Keokuk, Iowa, in 1946. She was a graduate of Keokuk High School in 1959. She married James Willard Wagoner on May 11, 1963, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He survives. Also surviving are one son, Jeff (Kelli) Wagoner; one daughter, Barb (Rodney) McKown; four grandchildren, Lindsey Wagoner, Zak Wagoner, Bridget Wagoner, and Jacki McKown; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents; two brothers, Jack and Bob Ashworth; and one niece, Sherry Ashworth. In the past she had worked at Shellar Globe in Keokuk, Iowa, Gambles in Monmouth, IL, and Roseville and Knoxville Nursing Homes. She loved being with her family and friends and going to movies and playing cards. A funeral service will be held on Saturday April 15, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Elmwood, with a one hour visitation prior to the service from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
