Gregory K. Clendenny Glasford Gregory K. Solid Gold Clendenny, 61, of Glasford passed away at 8:44 am Monday, August 23, 2016 at his residence. He came into this world on July 31, 1955 in Griggsville, IL. to Keith and Arlis (Lane) Clendenny Surviving is the mother of his four children; Laura Clendenny of Canton, daughters, Amy (Kevin) Anderson, Amber (Ben) Davis, Julie Clendenny, and Lisa Clendenny, all of Canton. Also surviving are two sisters; Regina McCuistion of Canton, and Monica Clendenny of Canton, two brothers; Kevin Clendenny of Canton, and Darren (Sandra) Clendenny of Dunfermiline, two granddaughters; Ruby and Elsie Anderson and is his girlfriend, Jamie Mabis. Greg retired from Caterpillar Inc. in 2007. He was a gentle man, who never met a stranger. He was always with a smile and a kind word. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life such as; fishing, hunting, flowers, gardening, dancing and music. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his four beautiful daughters, family and friends. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016, from 4-7 pm, at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with a funeral service on Saturday, at 1 pm, at the funer...[more]
