Jack Essex Dunfermline Jack L. Essex, 83, of Dunfermline passed away at 11:27 p.m. on Thursday, August 4, 2016, at Graham Hospital in Canton. He was born February 13, 1933, in Canton to Howard Boots and Fern (Sexton) Essex. He married Agnes Marinich on April 14, 1956, in Canton. She preceded him in death on September 16, 2012. He is survived by his two sons, Jack H. Essex and Alan L. (Susan) Essex, both of Dunfermline; four grandchildren, Andy (Carissa) Moser, Justin Moser, Mallory (Matt) Beoletto, and Nick Essex; two great-granddaughters, Lainey and Laiken; and was expecting his first great-grandson, Grayson Beoletto, in October of this year. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Charles Chuck Essex; and four sisters, Barbara Balbinot, Shirley Jarnagin, Pat Essex, and Jane Buntin. Jack was a veteran, serving as a Sergeant in the United States Army. He worked as a caster for Keystone Steel & Wire, retiring in 1993. An avid outdoorsman, Jack enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, hunting, and tending to his garden. He also enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren and cheering on his Chicago Cubs. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at St. Michaels Catholic Church in St. David, where visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service.
