Caleb Tyler Martin

Caleb Tyler Martin, 29, New London, died Saturday, November 18, 2017. He was born in Burlington on April 10, 1988 to William Eugene Martin, Jr. and Robin Linette Lemley Martin. He was a 2006 graduate of New London High School; attended Kirkwood Community College and Southeastern Community College; and was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed wrestling, baseball and watching his nephews wrestle and play baseball. He was a four time state wrestling qualifier and all-district first team third baseman. Caleb enjoyed fishing , mushroom hunting and especially loved being with his family. He worked at Wal-Mart warehouse, Batey Ltd, and most recently, Southpark Apartments. Survivors include; his mother Robin (Gary Long) of New London; his father of Mt. Pleasant; one brother, Chad (Allison) Lemley of Escondido, California; two sisters, Heidi (Adam) Aney of Burlington and Mariah Martin (Drew Scarff) of Mt. Pleasant; one niece, Abigail; four nephews, Hunter, Quinten, Dakota and Connor; aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
