Donnie Brown, 59, of Creston, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

A visitation will be held in lieu of a service. Visitation with family receiving friends will be from 2 to 6 p.m., December 2, at the Powers Funeral Home 601 New York Avenue in Creston.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Donald H. Brown, son of Betty Jane (Reed) Brown and Delbert Hugh Brown, Sr., was born on October 8, 1958 in Corning, Ia. He was educated at Cumberland and Massena schools. Donny worked for Summertime Potatoes in Des Moines for 12 years. He then worked for Steve's Auto in Des Moines repairing cars. He worked for over 4 years with Dekko in their Murray location. Presently, he had been working the night shift at WalMart in Creston for the last 10 years.
