June also fostered a love of travel with her husband; they backpacked through nine European countries and part of the Appalachian Trail. She volunteered many hours of her time in Waterloo and Guttenberg as well as Florida. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Waverly until adulthood and then was a member of Kimball Avenue Methodist Church in Waterloo. She also attended Peace Lutheran Church in Clayton. June is survived by: her husband, Frederick "Fred" Huting of Waterloo; three sons: Mark (Cinthia) Huting of Minneapolis, Paul (Melinda) Huting of Waterloo, and Dean (Cindy) Huting of Amery, WI; 9 grandchildren: Sara, Joel (Becky), Kathy (Tim), Jeff, David (Almira), Keely, Lael (Kyle), Logan, and Matthew; and five great??'grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; a grandson, Daniel Huting; and a brother, Duane Diester.
