August Joseph Tigner, 71, of Kent WA passed November 24th 2017. "Grandpa" or "Uncle" August son of L.D. Tigner and Luceal Tigner, loving husband of Patricia Tigner, passed away on November 24th at Valley Regional Hospital in Renton, WA after a long battle with pneumonia. He will be joining his brothers Dee Jerry (quad), Donald (twin), Sisters Carole Jessie Mac (quad), and Beatrice Josephin (quad). He is survived by his brothers Robert (single) and Danny (twin) and sister Mandy (single) as well as a long line of loving Nieces, Nephews, and Grandchildren. August was the heartbeat of the family with a love for Jazz music, the Seattle Super Sonics, and any and all events that included good old fashioned soul food. He was known for his moves out on the dance floor and his fashion forward wardrobe. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Services will be held this 9 December 2017 at Washelli Memorial Park in Seattle WA at 1:45pm, with a Celebration of Life to follow at The Church of the Nazarene, 850 Union Ave NE, Renton WA 98059 at 3:30pm.[more]
