Judy Harty

Judy Harty, 76, Muncie, passed away Monday morning, December 4, 2017, at her home. She was born Wednesday, October 15, 1941, in Muncie, the daughter of Archie T. and Sylvia (Hall) Douthitt. Judy attended Central High School and worked for Life Touch Senior Portraits. She was an active member of Glad Tidings Church. Judy enjoyed traveling and vacationing around the U.S. Survivors include her husband, James Harty; daughter, Linda (husband Mike) Brotherton; son, Robert "Tom" Harty; brother, David (wife Cheryl) Douthitt; grandson, James Benton Harty, (companion Staci Cabrera); great-grandchildren, Austin Harty and Kyle Harty; nieces and nephews, Christy Kramer, Debbie Douthitt, Mark Douthitt, Marsha Hyder and Ricky Boles. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Richard Douthitt and her sister, Betty Boles. Services will be held 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at Glad Tidings Church, 3001 S. Burlington Drive, Muncie, Indiana 47302 with Pastor Kevin Holt officiating. Family and friends may call at Glad Tidings Church from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Wednesday.
