Marion Krueger

Marion Jeanette Krueger, 78, of Keokuk, died at 1:32 AM Friday, February 24, 2006 at Keokuk Area Hospital. Mrs. Krueger was born September 23, 1927 in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Roy and Ethel Nelson Robertson. She married Stanley Courtney in 1949 and he preceded her in death in 1959. She married Roy L. Jr. "Bob" Krueger in December of 1969 in Keokuk. He survives. She was a lifelong resident of Keokuk. She is survived by her husband, Roy L. "Bob" Krueger of Keokuk; a son, Roger Courtney and his wife, Rhonda, of Keokuk; a stepson, Ronald Courtney and his wife, Mary Lou, of Newport Richey, Florida; five grandchildren, Matthew Courtney of Quincy, Illinois, Amy Courtney of Keokuk, Hilary Kluthe and her husband, Justin, of Macomb, Illinois, Andrew Courtney of Keokuk and David Courtney of Florida; and a very close cousin, Doris Jean Liebbe of West Des Moines, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Stanley Courtney, her parents, and a grandson, Adam. Funeral services were Monday, February 27, 2006 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Dr. Emmanuel Dass and Rev. William Olmsted officiating. Burial followed at Keokuk National Cemetery.
