es. George and Marianne were married June 20, 1953 in Belleville, Illinois. They lived in Jackson, MI, Springfield, IL, Edina, MN, and came to Muskegon in 1972 where he worked at Bennett Pump until his retirement in 1990. George's family and faith were the heart of his life. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and had served as an Elder and Deacon. His family is grateful for the care and compassion he received at Seminole Shores Assisted Living Center and from Harbor Hospice. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, December 28, 2017 at First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Jim Rausch officiating. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, the Harbor Hospice Foundation, or First Presbyterian Church.
