Nancy Riddle

Nancy Ann Riddle, 66, of Keokuk, died Tuesday evening, September 26, 2006 at Ft. Madison Community Hospital. Mrs. Riddle was born August 7, 1940 in Keokuk, Iowa the daughter of Harry and Edwina Samuels Gundy. She was a lifelong resident of Keokuk, Iowa. She was the chairperson for 16 years of the Labor Day Parade. She collected marbles, and was an avid euchre player on Thursday evenings. Mrs. Riddle loved camping at the Mule Festival and cooking everyone breakfast under the big tent. She loved cowboy books, crafts and crocheting and helping take care of everyone. Madison, Iowa Survived by a large family and many friends, many nieces and nephews who loved Aunt Nan. She was preceded in death by her mother, step-father, Robert Whiteside; daughter Angie Smith, granddaughter Nicki Smith; daughter-in-law, Lynne Riddle; and a half brother R.G. Whiteside. Funeral services were Friday, September 29, 2006 at DeJong's Funeral Home with Brother Bill Hauser officiating. Burial was at Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk, Iowa. A memorial has been established.
