ARLINGTON-Peggy Joyce Bartlett went home to be with her heavenly Father on Friday, Dec. 8, 2017. Peggy was born on June 9, 1935 in Fort Worth to Burton and Thelma Coder of Aledo.
Peggy met her soulmate and love of her life, Robert Bartlett, on New Year's Eve 1952 at Fort Wolters Air Force Base in Mineral Wells. They were married on Oct. 24, 1953 and began their life together in Arlington, where they planted roots and raised their two children, Melissa and Mark. Peggy's love and devotion for her family was her absolute greatest joy.
Peggy truly loved animals, always having at least one beloved dog by her side.
Music was a passion of Peggy's, including her favorites Alabama, Willie Nelson, Alan Jackson, and the Gaithers. She also so enjoyed the outdoors, taking long walks with her dogs and making lasting memories with family at the lake. Peggy is preceded in death by her one true love, Bob.
