Robert Forest Devon Woods Sr., 57, of Kahoka, Missouri, died at 9:25 PM, Friday, January 19, 2007, at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, Iowa. Mr. Woods was born March 12, 1949, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Joseph Delance and Viola Stoops Woods. He served in the United Sates Army. He was previously married to Zelda Davis and then Twyla Hommer. He married Denise Alberts on December 17, 2005, at Calvary Foursquare Church in Keokuk, Iowa. He lived in Keokuk most of his life with the exception of 15 years in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He had moved to Kahoka in April 2004. He had his own band, "Bobby Woods and the Cross Country Band" for many years. He was a member of Calvary Foursquare Church in Keokuk. He enjoyed riding bicycles and working outdoors. He had ridden on RAGBRIA. He is survived by his wife, Denise Woods of Kahoka, Missouri; his mother, Viola Miller of Keokuk, Iowa; three children, Bobbi Jo Hommer and her husband, Chad, of Tracy, Iowa; Robert Forest Devon "B.J." Cowman; four brothers and sisters, Timothy McCrory, Constance Janice Garcia, Rodney R. Horton; and Ronald D. Horton Sr.; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father; a grandmother, Emma Garcia; and uncles Bob Stoops and Bill Stoops. Funeral services were at 10:30 AM Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at Calvary Foursquare Church with Pastor Dan Davis officiating.
