Terry Michael Wilkerson
Terry Michael Wilkerson, age 63 departed this life to be with his Lord on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Franklin County, Tennessee on September 22, 1954 to the late Ira Ernest and Eliza May Judge Wilkerson. In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Laura Elizabeth Christian; seven brothers, William Horace, Avery Floyd, Ernest Loyd, Prentice, James Monroe, Donnie, and David; sister, Mary Frances; and in-laws, Kenneth and Bonita Hannah Sr. He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Pamela Darlene Wilkerson; daughters, Elizabeth (Jamie) Solomon of Keith Springs, Kendra (Danny) Christian of Decherd, and Cathy (Scotty) Allen of Winchester; grandchildren, Melissa (Jose) Velasquez of Ft. Stewart, Georgia, Andrew Gifford of Winchester, Kirby Christian of Decherd, Alexus Prince of Winchester, and Allison and Jacob Solomon of Keith Springs; great-grandchildren, Peyton Velasquez of Ft. Kentucky, Jo Marino of Keith Springs, Lena (Kenneth R.) Steele of Keith Springs; uncle, Mike Wilkerson Jr of Fackler, Alabama; aunt, Marie Ledbetter of Fackler, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, sister and brother-in-laws, and other family members. Terry was a member of Payne's Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon for many years. He also served the Keith Springs Community in many roles, especially the Keith Springs Fire Department where he served as Captain, Training Officer, and Commissioner. Terry was one of the greatest Tennessee Volunteer Fans that existed and was also an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Friday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 12 Noon on Saturday in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. Randy Jackson and Jim Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Keith Springs Cemetery.
