his sense of humor and enjoying a good joke. He enjoyed golf and attending opera and symphony. He especially enjoyed golf with his Keokuk friends. His most enjoyable game was the "Casady Foursome" in Lincoln, Nebraska, while visiting his sons. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary; three children, Richard Lee Casady and his wife, Cindy, of Milford, Nebraska, Thomas Kevin Casady and his wife, Tonja, of Lincoln, Nebraska and Susan Colleen Casady and her husband, Tom Boyd, of Tempe, Arizona; six grandchildren, Michelle Casady and her husband, Chris Pederson, Rick Casady, T.J. Casady and his wife, Kristie, Katie Bray, Christie Bray and her husband, Jimmie Rhoades, Kelly Gonka and her husband, Andrew; four great grandchildren, Thomas Carl Casady, Anne Rebecca Casady, George Harold Casady and Jennifer Casady Pederson; two brothers, Sam D. Casady and his wife, Maxine, of Fountain Hills, Arizona and James Evans and Barbara Beasey-Evans of West Burlington, Iowa; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather; and a daughter, Marsha Ann Casady. A gathering of friends and family was Tuesday, November 20, 2007, at First Christian Church in Keokuk. A Celebration of Life followed at 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 20, 2007, at First Christian Church with Rev. William S. Mitchell officiating. Memorials may be made to Keokuk Area Hospital Foundation, First Christian Church, or to Cancer Research.
