Brenda Kay Pruett

Brenda Kay Pruett was born February 10, 1972, in Algona, IA to Corliss and Darlene (Thompson) Claussen. Brenda attended Algona High School. Following high school Brenda worked as a nurse's aid for many years at the Good Samaritan Society of Algona, the Algona Manor and the Titonka Care Center. Brenda loved her family above all else and took great pride in being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed reading, camping and traveling. Brenda passed away peacefully at the Kossuth Regional Health Center on Friday, December 15, 2017. She was 45 years old. Brenda is survived by her husband, George Pruett of Titonka; children, Brandon Blocker of Lakota, George (Rhea) Pruett II of Titonka, and Belinda (fiancé Glen Nelson) Pruett of Algona; sister, Kim (Jeramie) Faber of Burt; brothers, Brad Menke of Algona, Daniel Menke of Yankton, SD, and William Menke of West Bend; and grandchildren, Hunter Blocker, Owen Blocker, Dakota Pruett, Sophia Hoyle, and George Pruett III.
