Judith Johnson Elmwood - Judith "Judy" A. Johnson, 78, of Elmwood, passed away at 11:48 p.m., on Sunday, December 17, 2017, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on July 20, 1939, in Douglas, to Frank and Alice (Kleen) Gorham. She married Larry Johnson on December 23, 1959, at the First Presbyterian Church in Elmwood. He preceded her in death in 2004. She is survived by her special friend, Larry McCoy; three children, Gary (Toshi Richardson) Johnson of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Stan Johnson of Kingsport, Tennessee, and Amy (Kyle) Anderson of Bloomington, Indiana; one brother, Richard "Butch" Gorham, three sisters, Carol Jean Cox, Ruth McCoy, and Janice Maxwell; and three grandchildren, Lucy Anderson and Cade and Lucas Johnson. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, John Gorham. Judy worked as a Bank Teller at the Bank of Yates City for over 30 years. She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels and Manna Meals for many years.
