Connie Jean Muller, age 61, of Villisca, Iowa, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017 at the Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. Connie was born March 5, 1956 in Corning, Iowa the daughter of Richard and Kathryn (Stille) Marsh. She was raised in Villisca graduating with the class of 1974. She furthered her education at Iowa Western Community College in Clarinda where she earned her LPN certification. Connie was united in marriage to James Muller on December 17, 1977 in Villisca, Iowa. They lived most of their married life in Villisca. Over the years, Connie worked at the Corning Hospital, a Clarinda nursing home, Villisca Good Samaritan Care Center, Red Oak Internal Medicine Clinic for 10 years, and for the past 10 years the Family Physicians Clinic. She attended Villisca United Methodist Church, was a former Order of Eastern Star member, and currently a PEO member. Connie enjoyed her flowers and gardening, birds, sewing, music, spending time with her grandkids, and was very passionate about her faith.

A celebration of life service will be held 10:30 AM Friday, December 22, 2017 at the Villisca United Methodist Church. Visitation with the family will be held from 6-8 PM Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the Nelson-Boylan-LeRette Funeral Chapel in Red Oak, Iowa. Burial of the cremated remains will take place at a later date at the Villisca, Iowa Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Villisca United Methodist Church or the Iowa PEO Project Fund.
