Derrick Allen Krabbe

Derrick Allen Krabbe, 30, of Latimer, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton, Iowa. He was born July 3, 1987, in Hampton, Iowa, to Scott and Pam (Borcherding) Krabbe. Derrick attended St. Paul's Lutheran Schools in Latimer for his first eight years and then attended CAL Community Schools. He was baptized at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Latimer. Derrick worked for Dan Reed in Alden, Iowa, working with livestock and loading hogs. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and watching football. Derrick liked cars and loved spending time with his family and friends. Derrick is survived by his mother Pam (Benji) Fett of Latimer, daughter Jax Krabbe of Dows, brother Joshua (Lacy) Krabbe and their children Caden and Harlow of Alexander, brother Tyler (Hanna Pals) Krabbe and their children Peyton and Amelia of Latimer, grandparents Wayne and Lois Borcherding of Latimer, grandfather Dean Krabbe of Clarion, grandmother Karen (Richard) Hotchkiss of Rowan, uncle Curtis (Lori) Borcherding of Osceola, aunt Kim Crafton of Rowan, uncle Larry Krabbe of Clarion, along with many cousins and friends.
