Kenneth Hoambrecker

Kenneth Gene Hoambrecker, 51, of Keokuk, died at 5:15 AM Friday, April 10, 2009, at his sister's home in Keokuk. Mr. Hoambrecker was born August 15, 1957, in Keokuk, Iowa, the son of Donald Gene and Suzanne Lee Platte Hoambrecker. He had been married to Pam Shinn. He served in the United States Navy aboard the nuclear submarine "Robert E. Lee". He was a lifelong Keokuk resident, attended college for two years and worked as brick mason, concrete installer and a salesman. He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ. Kenneth is survived by his father and step mother, Donald and Vera Hoambrecker of Keokuk; a sister, Penny Williams and her husband, Craig, of Keokuk; two brothers, Steve Hoambrecker and his wife, Nancy, of Junction City, Kansas and Alan Hoambrecker and his wife, Janet, of Kansas City, Missouri; four stepsisters of Keokuk, Dru Cook and her husband Jay,Diana Hester,Denice Samuels and her husband Mike, and Dawn Marlin and her husband, Jeff; stepbrother, Pat Ricker and his girlfriend Bella Kallio of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and nieces and nephews.
