ROGER A. LONG

ROGER A. LONG, age 55, of Columbia City, IN passed away at 9:46 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born on April 25, 1958 in Columbus, OH, he was the son of Junior Long and Rita F.(Jenkins) Long. He worked in the Parts Department at Dimension Ford in Ft. Wayne and at Rice Ford in Warsaw.He loved racing and watching Sprint Cars. Survivors include his children, Heather (Josh) Saylor, Matt (Jenny Fudge) Long both of Fort Wayne, Roger, Ryan and Gary Clevenger all of Rochester; sister, Lynn Peppler of Columbia City; and 12 grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2013 from 10 to 11 a.m. with an 11 a.m. funeral service at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City.
