Ruby I. Keller

Ruby I. Keller, 80, of Laotto and formerly of Columbia City, Ind. passed away at 12:53 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2016 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born May 22, 1935 in Switz City, she was the daughter of Lester H. McDaniel and Beulah A. (Frakes) Orman. She graduated from Linton High School with the Class of 1953. On February 19, 1954 Ruby married David O. Keller in Linton. They would then move to Greenfield where she worked at Southern Hancock School Corp. in the cafeteria with 30 years of service, retiring in 2000. She moved to be closer to her daughter in Columbia City in 2007 and in the fall of 2014, Ruby moved with her daughter to Laotto. Survivors include her daughter, Pamela (Robert) Clodfelter of Laotto; son, Mac (Debbie) Keller of Greenfield; sister, Roselyn Dean of Cape Coral, Fla.; brother, Ron McDaniel of Boscawen, N.H.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David; daughter, Beth Myers; sister, Ruth (Bob) Boone; and brother, Ralph McDaniel.
