Teresa M. Tennant

Teresa M. Tennant, 54, of Columbia City, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born October 25, 1962 in Indiana, she was the daughter of Robert and Martha (Scoby) Wood. She graduated from West Noble High School with the Class of 1980. Teresa had been a homemaker and worked at Tri-Lakes Quik Mart. She was a member of the VFW in Wolf Lake. Teresa enjoyed anything outdoors. She liked laying out in the sun, being at the lake, riding 4-wheelers on her parents property, camping with friends and spending time with her family. Survivors include her son, Jamie (Angela King) McClurg, of Albion; daughter, Emilie (Marcus) Sparks, of Fishers; brothers, Brian Wood Sr. of Goshen and Leonard Wood, of New Hampshire; and five grandchildren, Ethan and Jennifer King, Trey, CC and Oakley Sparks. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation is Wednesday September 20, 2017 from 10-12 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City with her funeral services starting at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Thorn Cemetery.
