John E. "Jack" Nowak, age 68, passed away Thursday morning, December 21, 2017. He was born August 24, 1949 in Muskegon to John and Lorraine (Gay) Nowak. Jack was a 1968 graduate of Muskegon Catholic Central and on April 11, 1969, married the former Ruth Ann "Gussie" Fairbanks in Muskegon. For 38 years he worked for Sealed Power as a supervisor prior to retirement. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Jack was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed educating and entertaining his grandchildren and feeding Ray and the kids. He loved his family more than anything.
