Charles Lee Hopkins

Charles Lee Hopkins, age 87 of Winchester, TN passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Center Skilled Care Unit. Mr. Hopkins was born October 9, 1930 in Winchester, TN to the late Hazel Spencer Hopkins and Terrell Trimble Hopkins. He was a 1951 graduate of Franklin County High School. Mr. Hopkins was a veteran of the United States Army and Tennessee National Guard. He was a lifetime member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Winchester where he held many offices and positions, as well as, the American Legion Post 44. He was retired from Batesville Casket Company in Manchester, TN. He was an avid gardener and had a love for the outdoors, cooking, and his four-legged companions Eddie and Shadow. He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Doris Weaver Hopkins, son, Gary Lee (Dawn) Hopkins of Winchester, daughter, Kim Hopkins of Winchester, grandsons, Cody Lee (Carrie) Hopkins of Winchester, and Casey Joel Hopkins of Winchester.
