Paul William Craven , 76, of Burlington, died Sunday, December 24, 2017, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Born October 9, 1941, he was the son of Charles and Janette Stevens Craven.
Paul had been Hy-vee manager in Burlington.
He enjoyed hunting with friends. He loved being around and meeting people, and adored his step-grandchildren. He was Presbyterian, with a strong faith in God, and was extremely appreciative of the kindness of others. He was a kind, fun and good man.
Survivors include one son, Robert Craven of Dallas, TX; his ex-wife, Linda Craven of Burlington who was his devoted companion of 40 years; two brothers, Jack of Albuquerque, NM, and Bob (Shirley) of Caledonia, WI; and one sister, Pat (Ken) Miller of Washington, IL; one step-son Lance (Angel) Beck of Burlington; six step-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Karter, Mason, Autumn, L.T., and Conner; and many nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Tony Craven; one step-daughter, Audra Mills; his sister-in-law, Sue Craven; and one niece, Cindy Daugherty.
