Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Larson
Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Larson, 84, of Sheffield, Iowa, formerly of Dougherty, passed away December 31, 2017, at the Sheffield Care Center. She was born on March 18, 1933, in rural Dougherty, to William and Lena (Baker) Esser. Betty attended country school and Rockwell. She was united in marriage to Wayne Eugene Larson on December 2, 1950, in Cartersville. Betty was a homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockwell, the Sacred Heart Ladies Guild and the Dougherty Senior Citizens. Betty was an avid card player, baker, gardener and canner. She enjoyed watching and attending sporting events particularly for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betty also enjoyed having coffee with her friends.
