Michael Girard Canton -Michael Girard, 52, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2017, at Graham Hospital in Canton. He was born on January 31, 1965 in Canton to Willis and Sandra K. (Poscis) Girard. His father preceded him in death. Surviving is his mother, four children, Kevin, Justin, Katrina and Todd Girard all of Canton, two brothers, David and Willis Girard both of Canton, three sisters, Bonnie Girard, Debbie Girard, both of Canton, Ruth Voorhees of Lewistown, five grandchildren and his soul mate Tracy Cox. He was preceded in death by his sister Tammy Sue Girard. Michael worked as a cook at the American Grill in Canton and was a member of the 1st Church of the Nazarene. A private funeral service will be held. There will be no visitation. Burial will be held at the Howard Cemetery in rural Smithfield. Memorials may be made to his grandchildren.
