Juanita Young 84 of Wellington and had lived in Oberlin, passed away on January 6, 2018 following a short illness.
She was a lifelong resident of Lorain County. Ms. Young, attended the Oberlin Murray Ridge workshop for many years. She was a member of East Oberlin Community Church for 10 years. She enjoyed; bowling, arts and crafts, and being involved in her community.
She is survived by her sister; Mary Layton of Elyria and many friends, caregivers, and other relatives.
Friends may call Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 4-8pm in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel 127 West Bridge Street, Elyria, Ohio. Service will be held at East Oberlin Community Church 43709 Oberlin/Elyria Rd., Oberlin, Ohio 44704, from 10:00am-11:00am on Thursday, January, 11, 2017. Pastor Chris Vough, officiating.
