Gladys Mable Hoberland

Gladys was born on December 14, 1916 in Zearing to Arthur William and Laura Glenn (Culbertson) McVitty.  She was a graduate of Zearing High School.  On January 18, 1937, Gladys married Lowell Henry Hoberland at the grooms home in Zearing.  She was a member of the Milford Township Happy Hour Club.  Gladys enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and sewing. Gladys is survived by 2 sons, Dan E. Hoberland of Sharps Chapel, TN and James L. Hoberland of Phelan, CA; 2 daughters, Peg M. Kinnetz of Iowa Falls and Loretta Hughes of Ames; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on May 11, 2000, 2 grandsons, Kevin Perisho and Rexford Hughes, a daughter, Ilo Jean Cates, 2 brothers, Russell and Albert McVitty.
Service:

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 16 at 2:00 P.M. at the United Methodist Church in Zearing, Iowa.

Cemetery:

Burial will be in the Lincoln Township Cemetery in Zearing.
