and loving, leaving an endearing legacy to be passed down. Mary worked as a nurse's aid for 26 years at the Marshalltown Manor Nursing Home (Southridge Nursing Home)where she brought a gentle hand and a warm smile to all the residents, many of whom she continued to visit long after her retirement from there. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Marshalltown, for many years and later became a member of New Hope Christian Church, Marshalltown. She and Don were part of the "Alive with New Hope" group, enjoying their golden years together. They loved to travel and camp, with their children in the early years and later with their grandchildren. Mary loved dancing, bowling, gardening and she was an avid animal lover and will be especially missed by her dog Dusty. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 49 years, Donald, her children: Beverly (Ronald )Rohde of Marshalltown, Diane (Sam) Moussalli of Ankeny, Daniel Lee(Delawn)Emerson of Marshalltown, Daniel Joe (Loretta) Ecklor of Cedar Rapids, Julie (Douglas) Weatherman of Marshalltown, Tammie (Richard) Casciato of Des Moines, Winona Logan of Des Moines and David (Bobbie) Ecklor of Lebanon, Missouri. Mary was also blessed with 18randchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
