Terry Hatcher

Terry Hatcher, 71, of Clemons, Iowa, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2015 at Iowa River Hospice House with family members by his side. Per Terrys wishes, his body is being donated to the University of Iowa for their Deeded Body Program. This program helps advance medical education and research. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 22, 2015, at Anderson Funeral Homes, 405 W. Main St. Marshalltown, IA. Family requests that guests dress casual. A continued time of fellowship, along with time to greet family and share memories, will follow the memorial service at the funeral home. Coffee and cookies will be furnished. Memorial contributions may be directed to Terrys name to his family for designation at a later date. Online condolences may be left at www.andersonfhs.com. Terry especially enjoyed the summertime when he could be outside doing yard work on his Grasshopper lawn mower. He enjoyed spending time at The Spot with his friends and having just one more. o fix anything will be greatly missed by his wife, family members and friends. Those left to cherish Terrys memories are his wife, Bev; son, Tracy; parents, Bill and Marilyn Hatcher and sister, Becky. In death, Terry rejoins his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, brother-in-law, and many friends. The family wishes to thank Dr. Prow and her staff from the Oncology Department at McFarland Clinic in Marshalltown and Ames. Also a big thank you to Iowa River Hospice Home Care and the Iowa River Hospice house for their excellent care and personal attention they always gave Terry and gave to the family. Lastly, but will never be forgotten, all the support given by brothers, sister-in-laws, neighbors, and friends.
